The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a full-time, 180 ECTS program that is divided into three years. Classes are lectured by qualified faculty with an international curriculum. Students also participate in internships, company visits and excursions, forums and symposia, guest speaker presentations / webinars, e-conferences and much more.
The program culminates with the submission and defense of a thesis, on a business-related subject of the student’s choosing. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from the Swiss School of Management.

The students will begin their studies jumping into the basics which will put them in a better position to choose their specialization later on. The courses for the first year are designed to lead the students to explore the fascinating and complex world of management. They will be clearer insights about how business works, how leaders are prepared for greater role and how organizations work.
During the second year, students will expand their initial learning by taking a critical and practical approach to the core concepts of business administration and management. Towards the end of their second year, the students will be given a chance to apply their knowledge through internships and other practical applications of learned concepts.
During the final year in the BBA program, students will have the chance to choose their specializations. They will choose the areas they are not only passionate about but fascinated with. They will be encouraged to practice managerial skills, apply excellent communication and leadership competencies and engage in real life problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation scenarios. It follows a flexible program in order to ensure that once you join SSM, you will be practicing various techniques of how to present yourself in a professional manner. It will include techniques of reading, writing, presenting and debating, which are 4 key elements of communication.
This class offers the basic concepts and tools necessary to understand how financial markets work, and how financial instruments are used for sound investment decisions. This knowledge is especially important in the present environment, in the aftermath of the Financial Crisis of 2007-2009, and during the ongoing debt crisis in Europe. Topics covered include the following: models of risk and return; time value of money and net present value; market efficiency, anomalies, and behavioral finance; asset allocation and modern portfolio theory; bonds and interest rates, forwards and futures, options; the structure and performance of the money management industry: pension funds, mutual funds, hedge funds. Effort will be made to relate the course material to current financial issues and problems relevant to practitioners.
The aim of this unit is to enable candidates to understand the purchase decision-making process and how marketing research techniques are used to contribute to the development of marketing plans. This unit explores buyer behaviour and how it is influenced by a range of factors and situations. Candidates will explore the marketing research process and assess the importance of different types of information. The approach is practical and candidates will learn how to prepare and present a research proposal, assess the reliability of market research findings, and use secondary sources of data.
Candidates will then develop the skills needed to assess trends and carry out competitor analysis.
Finally, candidates will consider customer relationship management and how to assess levels of customer satisfaction.
The unit seeks to combine a sound theoretical framework with the development of useful business skills.
