As university students passionate about innovation, we often ask: *How do you turn a design thinking idea into a prototype?* This question was answered for first-year students at the Swiss School of Management (SSM) during an enlightening experience at L’Ateneu de Fabricació de Gràcia.
An Ideal Innovation Hub
L’Ateneu de Fabricació de Gràcia is a vibrant public space focused on digital project development. Guided by Andrea Chuquilla, MSc. Educational Trends Specialist, our group explored prototyping, learning how to transform creative concepts into tangible outcomes.
Engaging with Experts
During our visit, Fayna, an expert at L’Ateneu, addressed our questions about prototype development and available tools. This hands-on experience was invaluable, setting the stage for our upcoming Innovation and Design Thinking class.
Bridging Theory and Practice
One key takeaway was that prototyping is essential for bringing ideas to life beyond the classroom. We are excited to develop our prototypes and apply the theoretical knowledge we’ve gained.
Looking Ahead
Our collaboration with L’Ateneu has equipped us with the skills and confidence to pursue our projects, aiming not only for personal excellence but also for meaningful community impact. As students of SSM, we are committed to pushing boundaries and contributing to a brighter future, one prototype at a time. Stay tuned for updates on our creative journeys!
